Jasmin odoratissimum – Flagrant jasmin or yellow jasmin
This plant belongs to Oleaceae family and is cultivated in warm temperate areas for the essential oil obtained from the flowers some of them being used in perfumery.

     Paraffin cross sections (8 µm thick) have been made at two levels in a floral bud and stained with toluidine blue: ovaries (upper) and stamens (below).um
