The cell of the chlorenchyma is caracterized by a large, central vacuole (V) with the cell organelles located around, against the wall :  chloroplasts (CPL) and the nucleus (N). Intercellular spaces (red arrows) are evident between cells. In this cell eight chloroplasts are seen which contain grana and electron dense starch grains
