The nucleus shows a polylobed shape and  dense aggregates of heterochromatin (yellow arrows) are observed in the nucleoplasm. In the cytoplasm the mitochondriae (M) show a roundshape with poorly developed cristae (see detail below), small vacuoles (V) and spherosomes (S) distributed along the thin primary wall (P).
